How much does shipping cost?
Beautiful Gems & Jewellery (BG&J) provides free delivery within Australia for all orders over $100. Orders under $100 are charged a flat fee of $9.90.
We also provide free delivery, for orders over $100, to the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Germany, France, Canada, Israel, Italy. For orders under $100, please place your order online (or email us in advance) and we will confirm the shipping costs with you by email before your order is confirmed/sent. Shipping charges may be waved for valued customers at the discretion of management.
Other countries that we deliver to are: Belgium, Brazil, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Luxembourg, Denmark, Malaysia, Estonia, Malta, Finland, Netherlands, Portugal, Gibraltar, Singapore, Spain, Hungary, Sweden, Ireland, and Switzerland. For these countries, please place your order online (or email us in advance) and we will confirm the shipping costs with you by email before your order is confirmed/sent. Shipping charges may be waved for valued customers at the discretion of management.
International shipping costs (not waved by management) are calculated in accordance with the following table: (plus insurance of 2.5% of the items value) Please note: Shipping cost does not include duties and taxes. Shipping charges may be waved for valued customers at the discretion of management.
How long will my delivery take?
If the product you ordered is in stock it will be dispatched from our warehouse in 1-2 days. Once your order has shipped, please allow 2-7 business days for delivery depending on your location. Orders requiring ring sizing take up to three (3) additional business days to complete.
You would have noticed that at BG&J our great prices are lower than the mainstream online jewellery retailers. One of the reasons why we can afford to bring you such impressive savings is that for some items we keep a minimum level of stock, which means that not all items will be in stock at the time of ordering.
If the product you ordered is not in stock then it will usually take 2 weeks to manufacture most items (and rarely it may take up to 6 weeks if specialist gemstones need to be first shipped from around the world). This being said, about 80% of items that are not in stock at the time of ordering are usually dispatched from our warehouse in around 2 weeks.
After you have placed your order we will let you know if it is in stock or not, and we will provide an estimated date range for delivery. We understand that the timing of delivery may have special significance for you and so if you wish to know about delivery times for specific items in advance of placing your order then please call our friendly sales team (with the products SKU number) and we can discuss accelerated priority options if they are available.
What could delay my order?
Whilst we endeavour to fulfil all orders, please be aware that some styles may not be available at the time of dispatch, particularly during sale or high demand periods like Christmas. If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss what other options are available, and after yo have made a selection we will dispatch it to you as soon as possible. We will notify you if we are unable to fulfil your order.
We work hard to protect our customer’s personal and financial information from being used in a fraudulent manner. We undertake efforts to verify the security and privacy of all orders. Due to these efforts, most orders take a minimum of 1 – 2 business days before being approved for shipment.
How do I track my order?
When your order is shipped, we will send an email containing a consignment number and tracking ID. Simply follow the link in the email to track the delivery of your parcel.
Do I need to sign for the delivery?
For security reasons, a signature is required for all deliveries.
I’ve missed my delivery, what now?
If you’re not present when the delivery arrives, a notice will be left at your address providing details of alternate delivery or pick-up arrangements.
StarTrack will deliver the item to your nearest Australia Post location for pickup.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Please contact us to arrange delivery to your location.
Can I change my delivery address?
We process and pack your order as soon as possible. This means that your shipping address can only be changed if your order has not been processed by our warehouse team. To change your shipping address, please contact our friendly staff as soon as possible.
